What we supply
Commercial hydrochloric acid is the standard pickling acid for steel, the acidising agent for bore wells, and the pH-correction acid in a large share of Indian effluent plants. Velora supplies it at the usual 30–33% commercial strength in tankers for bulk users and 250 kg HDPE drums for dosing rooms.
It is a straightforward commodity, and the supplier's job is almost entirely logistics and paperwork: getting a corrosive Class 8 load to your gate on the promised day with the batch certificate attached. That is what we hold ourselves to.

No tested values are published here. The certificate of analysis for the batch actually loaded travels with the despatch documents, and a representative COA and the safety data sheet go out before any commercial discussion.

Price
HCl is largely a by-product of chlorination chemistry, so its price moves with what those plants are doing rather than with any cost build-up of its own — availability can tighten quickly when downstream units go down for maintenance. It is also cheap and heavy, so freight dominates the landed cost. Distance from the producing plant usually decides your price more than anything else, which is why we quote against a delivery point.
Questions
Above roughly 33% at ambient temperature the acid fumes off so readily that it becomes difficult to store and transport safely, and you lose strength in the tank. Commercial supply settled on 30–33% because that is the practical ceiling for bulk handling.
FRP, rubber-lined steel, HDPE or PVC, vented, and ideally scrubbed. Mild steel will fail. If you are setting up new storage, tell us what you are planning and we will flag anything that will cause trouble before you build it.
Yes. Standing call-offs are planned in advance so the tanker is scheduled rather than chased, and the price is agreed for the period with a stated validity.
Commercial hydrochloric acid is normally traded by weight, per kg or per tonne; if you buy by the litre, remember 30–33% acid is noticeably heavier than water, so convert before comparing quotes. Our written offer gives the landed price, concentration, packing and validity.
